First post, feeling a bit giddy

Don't really know what the rules are on the whole blog thing, so basically just going to type some stuff and that is that. Running items for each post:
BM - 7:14 almost missed the 7:20 train
Lunch - Chicken rice from Kwik Meal and a free (woo hoo) piece of pizza from the Super Pantry
Pro's of the day - aforementioned free pizza, a bottle of wine and the black 'n' milds my wife bought
Con's of the day - Alec acting like a complete douche all night, and the raw mixed nuts and blue machine missing from the super pantry

I think this first post should be an opportunity for me to share a few things about myself. I am married (for 3+ years), my lovely wife and I have two children - Alec 2 and a half years old, and Rhys 1 year old; and we live in the lovely town of Dobbs Ferry in Westchester.

My general likes:
  1. Being a fan of two champion sports teams and teaching my eldest to yell "Go Pens" and "Go Steelers"
  2. Single Malt Scotch, I will share my list in the future
  3. Cheese
  4. Onion and Garlic Potato Chips
  5. Beer
  6. Excel
  7. My desk http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=1070&f=28540&q=desk&fromLocation=Search&DIMID=400001&SearchPage=1
  8. Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson Storytellers
  9. Cooking, I will share my favorite recipes in some future posts
  10. Our apple tree photo in the living room

My general dislikes

  1. Idiots (definition flexible)
  2. When 2 and a half year olds act like two and a half year olds
  3. Mosquitos...bees...insects
  4. Peanut Butter (it is a tool of the devil)
  5. Mushrooms
  6. Rashes
  7. Folding kids clothes, it never frigging ends, tiny little socks dammit
  8. Running out of propane after the burgers are already made, and burgers made not on the grill are terrible, this is not negotiable
  9. Having to go down the frigging hill to do laundry
  10. Putting window airconditioners in...and also taking them out...basically window airconditioners vex the shit out of me

I could go on, especially on the second list, but this should be enough for us to get to know one another.
